March 20, 2025 Changelogs!
New Features
You can now edit the cover of your story directly from the story editor! You’ll also now see a preview of the image you selected in the pop-up before confirming!
On the
Read
page, you can navigate to a newTop Tags
page! The tags are sorted alphabetically, but the frequency of stories with that tag is displayed by how big the text is! Less used tags are smaller than more used tags!
UI/UX Updates
When selecting a story cover on the
Read
page, the site will now update to display the new chosen cover! You will also receive a warning if you do not have enough quills to purchase, instead of nothing happening.
You’ll now get inline error messages when creating
Circles
or Stories! Previously, this was a toast pop-up.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug with the text uploader. Authors will now encounter less problems with text disappearing on the
Read
page of a story after uploading. This does not retroactively fix existing stories, so if you’re having problems missing content, on theEdit
page, check to see if your chapters are showing up at the top of the page! (Or if you don’t know what that means, just delete and re-create the chapter borders) If your story is still having formatting troubles with the uploader, the same idea applies. Delete the formatting, upload your story, and then re-create what you want in the StoryForge editor.
When selecting a new aesthetic for your
Library
, the shop will now show which one you’ve selected! Previously, you would select an item and it would update theLibrary
image, but it would not update in your inventory, and you could select another item and it would de-select the first item. You’ll now no longer get duplicate “follow” emails.
Changes
